Reviews from film clubs
Vermilion45 (The 5 Dollar Bin), 8/10: This is a film where practical effects go a long way, and it's so very nice to see them in use. Deranged, bloody, with a sense of humor at times, the film somehow still retains that of a whimsical child like feel underneath every so often. Don't let how absurd everything surrounding it seems give you preconceived notions. The low budget shows at times, but never gets in the way.
